OUR AIMS
Manageritalia is the organization dedicated to all managerial figures, whatever their contract type is and who are involved in choices and business performances and have mutual responsibilities and professional needs.
Today the DNA of the various professions changes in terms of times and work places. This creates new working contracts and it determines always more complex and “fluid” professional life-styles . From this reality a strong need of representation to which Manageritalia provides solutions emerges.
Our aim is to continue safeguarding and supplying services to executives, and also to all those figures (senior staff and professionals) who have the same needs but do not receive appropriate assistance.
Sure of our skills, we confidently approach institutions so that the services sector management gains the deserved consideration in the economic and social setting of our country.

OUR HISTORY
Manageritalia originates from the national association of business executives (Andac), founded in Rome in March 1945 to safeguard executives' contracts.
In 1947 it took on a federal structure and the name of Fendac (National Federation of business executives) and, with the signing of the first executives' collective contracts in business (1948) transport and shipping companies (1949) , it became officially recognized as the unique representative. Gradually, in the Sixties, the first collective contracts for hotel managers, general logistic and shipping agencies were signed.
A sequence of fundamental steps have been marking the Federation's activity:

In 1948 the Mario Besusso health assistance Fund (Fasdac) was set up.
In 1957 the Mario Negri supplementary pension fund was set up.
In 1979 it negotiated favourable insurance agreements which in 1998 merged with the contractual insurance program (Mario Pastore).
In 1992 it became aware of the importance of professional training and created the services sector management training centre.
In January 2001 the Federation started the process of joining services sector senior staff.
In June 2003 Fendac changed its name Manageritalia and extended its representation to professionals and all the services sector managers proposing a new mission.
In October 2004 Manageritalia signed with UFI (Italian Financial Union) the first collective national contract to regulate financial activities.
November 2005 saw the reconfirmation of the pre-agreement for the formation of the CONFEDERATION OF SERVICES SECTOR MANAGEMENT, PRIVATE AND PUBLIC, between Manageritalia and DIRCREDITO-FD, CONFEDIR and FE.N.DIT.

1945 - 2005 A COMPASS TO GET IN MANAGERITALIA WORLD
Just over sixty pages to tell sixty years of history. Manageritalia is sixty years old and commemorates collecting in a very useful work the cardinal points of its past, present and future programs.
It is a tool that starting from way back in 1945, goes through the history of a Federation born from the determination of fourteen executives who from the ashes of the Second World War created Andac, the National Association of business executives.

A long way from then, a lot of work, a great commitment and a lot of reached targets, and a lot more members.
Today thirty five thousand members carry on a project born sixty years ago with a still lively and up-to-date philosophy which can be read on the book “La tua bussola in Manageritalia”, the way chosen by Manageritalia to give its members and potential members, a useful means of corporate culture and information.
Starting from the beginning, from the foundation of the association, this brief text (that can be consulted and downloaded directly from this page) explains the bases of the Federation's philosophy and the services offered to its members.

It is about the contract and briefly explains the single sections such as commerce, transport and shipping, hotel companies joined with Federalberghi, hotel chains joined with Aica, maritime agencies and general logistic.
The text ends with an overview of the four contractual Funds (Fasdac, Mario Negri, Antonio Pastore Association, and Cfmt), a prologue of Assidir srl, insurance intermediary of Manageritalia and a section regarding the intense and important institutional activities of the Federation.
